April - New Moon of New Beginnings

It will be the new moon on April 19 at 9:12 p.m. PDT along with an exceptional solar eclipse…

as it will be both annular, partial and total, which only happens once every ten years! The eclipse will begin on April 19 at 6:37 pm, culminating on April 19 at 23:59 pm. It will be visible in Southeast Asia, Australia and Indonesia. Even if the eclipse will not be visible, we will nevertheless feel its effects. A lunar eclipse will follow on May 5.

The new moon and the eclipse will take place in the constellation Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. At the same time, Mercury will go retrograde until May 15 and Jupiter will enter this constellation for a year! The energy is therefore very Aries, favorable to new beginnings, new projects. However, it is better to wait until after the eclipse of May 5, and even after Mercury retrograde, before starting a project because it is said that it is not favorable to do important things between two eclipses and Mercury retrograde.

The New Moon will take place in the constellation Ashwini, ruled by the Ashwin Kumaras, the twin sons of the Sun who walk the universe for healing and regeneration. It is therefore an ideal moment to find the remedy for our ills, to start a new therapy. As the symbol of this constellation is a horse, it is a good month for contact with horses.

Jupiter's entry into Aries will lead us to be more in action, to concretize our projects. We must be careful, with so many planets in Aries, not to be impulsive, impatient, intolerant and fanatical in our beliefs. Aries will awaken the warriors in us and we need to channel this energy well for constructive purposes. Happy New Moon!
