June - Strawberry Shamanic Full Moon

It's a full moon on Saturday, June 3, at 8:42 pm PDT.

In sidereal astrology, it will be aligned with the star Antares, in the heart of Scorpio. This can be an intense, emotionally confronting and insecure Full Moon. We may feel somewhat vulnerable and feverish.

This place is called Jyestha in Vedic astrology. It means "elder" and invites us to respect and care for our elders, appreciating their wisdom and experience.

Jyestha is ruled by Indra, the king of gods who defends dharma and fights demons. He invites us to confront the dark corners of our psyche, the shadows we've swept under the carpet and forgotten. Scorpio's shadows are: the quest for power and victory at all costs, perfectionism, criticism, the spirit of vengeance, fixed ideas and obsessions, the difficulty of detaching oneself emotionally. These elements will be brought to light, and the challenge will be to avoid judging, devaluing or blaming ourselves. We know that any poison can kill or heal, depending on how we use it. This is a very shamanic and transformative nakshatra.

Jupiter and Rahou (North Node) are in conjunction from mid-May to mid-June. This happens every year, but in a different sign. This year, the conjunction takes place in Aries. Many new ideas and innovative approaches will emerge. It's time to "think outside the box", to do things differently.

Throughout June, Mars and Venus will be in the constellation of Cancer. This brings sweet passion, but beware of emotional excess, emotional manipulation and passive aggression! And beware of accidents on or in the water!

Mercury and Uranus are aligned from June 4-8, which can make us unpredictable, but opens us up to new ideas. Mercury in Taurus from June 7-24 is good for business and commerce. Happy full moon !
