April - Eclipsed and transformative New Moon

It will be the new moon along with a partial solar eclipse this Saturday, April 30 at 1:29 p.m. PDT.

Even though the eclipse will not be visible in the northern hemisphere, we will still feel its effects: fatigue, lack of energy, reversals of circumstances...

The New Moon will take place in the constellation Aries (sidereal astrology), the first sign of the zodiac indicating new beginnings and starts. Uranus and Rahu (North Node) will be with the Sun and the Moon, which announces a month full of unexpected events and surprises, good and bad! We must learn to "go with the flow", to let go, because life can take us out of our comfort zone! We may also have mood swings and unreasonable fears!

The new moon will take place in the lunar constellation (nakshatra) Bharani, ruled by Yamaraj, god of death and dharma (right action) who welcomes us into the afterlife at our death and directs us where we need to go. We are in an energy of transformation that invites us to let go of what no longer serves us. Bharani is symbolized by a yoni, a female sexual organ that recalls the energy of gestation and creativity. The transformation it brings about can sometimes be painful, but giving birth to oneself or to one's projects always brings great joy! Bharani is also linked to the sacred feminine and it is a time to honor the woman and the feminine principle, regardless of our gender! It is also favorable for exploring sacred sexuality, trantra, Taoism, etc.

Yama is also the defender of dharma, and we can expect more truth and ethics in the coming weeks!

On the day of the eclipse, Jupiter and Venus will be aligned with Neptune in Pisces. The two gurus are together, but one (Jupiter) is the guru of the devas and the other (Venus) the guru of the asuras. So there can be conflicts, inner and outer, between what we want to do and what we have to do, differences of values within ourselves and with others.

Until May 23: Venus is in exaltation, which is excellent for opening and healing the heart, creativity, celebration, connection to others.

There will be another eclipse, lunar this one, on May 16. It is said not to do anything important in between eclipses (launching a project, commitment, etc.) as the energy is very volatile and changeable, especially since Mercury will also be retrograde from May 10 to June 3. Happy New Moon!
