June - New Moon of the Purifying Storm
This will be the new moon on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:52 pm PDT.
It will be aligned with the constellation Gemini (sidereal astrology), in particular the star Betelgeuse, called Ardra in Vedic astrology. Betelgeuse is a turbulent star, even astronomers confirm this!
Ardra is ruled by Rudra, a fearsome form of Shiva who rules storms! He is represented by a tear, and this new moon can bring up long-buried emotions and cause emotional storms! Storms are necessary to lighten and purify the atmosphere, even if they can be difficult to live through!
