March - Full Moon

The moon will be full on Thursday 13 March at 11:55pm Pacific time.

This one will be very special, as it will be the subject of a total eclipse, which will be visible between 10.09pm and 1.47am. The moon will take on a reddish hue. This lunar eclipse will be followed by a solar eclipse on 29 March, and it's advisable not to do anything important (new projects, launching a business, commitments) between two eclipses. We can feel the energy of eclipses up to a month in advance in the form of fatigue, confusion and hypersensitivity. This is the time to stop and take care of ourselves.

We're entering a veritable portal of change, effervescence and restlessness, with many planets in transition, retrograde or in combustion... let's expect turbulence and breaks in normality and let's develop our resilience and flexibility in the face of the unexpected and paradigm shifts.

The Full Moon with the South Node can make us more perceptive, sensitive to energies, clairvoyant, but also hyper-emotional, anxious and nervous. In sidereal astrology, on the night of the full moon, our luminaries will be in constellation transition. The full moon will therefore be aligned with the end of the constellation Leo, more precisely the star Denebola, the tail of Leo, with Mercury stationary retrograde; the Sun is moving from Aquarius to Pisces. Saturn is also in transition to Pisces. We'll soon have 6 planets in this mystical, visionary, hypersensitive, altruistic and idealistic constellation! And Uranus enters Taurus for about 6 years, which will accelerate the transition to digital technology, especially money.

The eclipsed Full Moon will take place in the lunar constellation (nakshatra) UttaraPhalguni, ruled by Aryaman, one of the 12 adityas (sons of the Sun) who takes the form of friend and support. This constellation gives us the desire to help others, to make a difference in the world. At the same time, it reminds us of the Divine friend and support that we all have within us at all times, on whom we can rely and in whom we can confide. The symbol of this constellation is a marriage bed. In India, it is said that you should never sleep on a broken bed, as it can bring bad luck to your love life! It is said that the goddess Lakshmi was born under this star, which is therefore associated with abundance in all its forms.

Mercury goes retrograde the day after the Full Moon until April 7: a time of introspection and re-evaluation, but also of misunderstandings, missed appointments and electronic devices that crash!

Venus retrograde until April 11 may cause us to revisit old friends or loves, to re-evaluate our deepest needs, our way of relating, to connect with the love within us, and to make adjustments in relationships. This is also the time to finish creative projects.

Mars in Gemini until April 3 is excellent for practising yoga and the martial arts. However, you must avoid heated debates, deaf dialogue and violent communication!

In short, until April 12, energy is volatile and transient; it's best to let the storm pass so you can reposition yourself better afterwards. Eclipses are very favourable times for spiritual practices, meditation, prayer and contact with other dimensions. Let's seize the opportunity and open ourselves up to these effluvia of inspiration and grace. Happy eclipsed full moon!
