April - Mystical and Creative New Moon
It will be the new moon this Sunday, April 11 at 7:31 pm PST.
It will take place at the junction of Pisces and Aries (sidereal astrology), the last and first sign of the zodiac respectively, at 28 degrees Pisces. This place is the doorway out of the zodiac, out of the mind and three dimensional matrix, the place of Moksha (spiritual liberation). It is a new moon conducive to introspection, to inner listening, to contemplation, to mysticism.
This place represents letting go, detachment, the end of things. Pisces is also a sign related to dreams, intuition, empathy, sensitivity, visions. What am I ready to let go of in my life that no longer suits me, that is no longer useful for my evolution? It can be to let go of objects that are no longer needed, to let go of toxic relationships, an unsatisfying job, or unwanted thoughts and emotions that pollute our mind and prevent us from accessing inner peace.
The new moon will take place in the nakshatra (lunar constellation) called Revati, ruled by the god Pushan, who takes care of animals and guides travellers on the path, but who is also our inner guide. Which inner and outer path do I want to take? This constellation is related to travel, and in the current context, it will be mostly inner journeys that we will make! It is a place for dreams, for visions, be attentive to the messages you receive! This nakshatra is also linked to Vishnu who sleeps. It is said that we are in the dream of Vishnu!
Sun and Moon will be accompanied by Mercury. This planet of logic and reason is not very comfortable in the mystical sign of Pisces, where it will stay until April 17. This is not the time to make important decisions, as we may lack judgment, discrimination and objectivity. It is better to meditate and be attentive to the images and impressions that are coming up.
