“When you taste Ayurvedic massage, you definitely come back. The abundant use of warm oil relaxes the body deeply and moisturizes the skin and hair. I appreciate the care provided by Nayna. She is professional, caring, generous and what is more, she is passionate about her work.”

Here’s some commonly known benefits of this beautiful technique:

10 minutes of rest is provided at the end of the treatment to let the effects seep in further and oils be absorbed by the body. To complete, we provide hot towels for the full body to remove excess oil.
*You may also choose to follow this treatment with an add-on to include the Swedhana - Ayurvedic Steam Therapy, that is traditionally taken together to further encourage detox and deeper relaxation. Abhyanga also pairs well with Shirodhara, Marma or any other pain management therapy.
Why Abhyanga is so important?
Because vata is the leading dosha of the three and it can help balance all other doshas when treated with Abhyanga.
A pure form of spiritual touch is often lacking in today's life of a common working individual. This treatment nourishes the whole being bringing a deeper connection with oneself.
For Children
A shorter version of this treatment can be given to children above the age of 5. For children younger than 5, the family must administer it at home as a daily ritual.
Home Tips
A home version of Abhyanga may be practiced daily for ongoing self-care. See process here.
