June - Full Moon of Shiva-Shakti
It's an intense and transformative full moon that awaits us this Thursday, June 24 at 11:40 am PDT.
The moon will be aligned with the galactic center at the beginning of the constellation Sagittarius.
This place is called Mula in Vedic astrology, which means "root". It leads us to go to the origin of things, to go back to the source and uproot our problems at the root, once and for all! It is said that the galactic center contains a black hole, and that this place is associated with the goddess Kali, Shiva's feminine counterpart, whose function is to rid us of fear, ignorance, suffering, illusion and everything that hinders awakening. What do I want to send into the black hole of the galaxy? Thoughts, emotions, habits, self-sabotage, unhealthy attachments, prejudices...
It is said that this galactic center is also a portal to Moksha, spiritual enlightenment. It is therefore a very favorable time for insights, intuitions and the transcendence of our small limited mind with its names and forms to merge into the infinite and the multidimensional.
The Sun, which is always opposite the moon during full moons, is aligned with the star Betelgeuse, associated with Rudra (Shiva), a turbulent star of purification and transformation, until July 6. It is Shiva and Shakti unified, the feminine and masculine principles, which we also have within us, ida and pingala, that make us feel complete and fulfilled.
Venus and Mars are together until August 11 and can bring romance and passion. However, until July 10, there is also an opposition of Mars and Saturn, which are very contradictory energies that can bring tension, frustration, delays, impatience and even discouragement.
Mercury is direct again until September 27. Communication will be easier and we will finally be able to commit to our projects. Happy Solstice Full Moon!
