November - Full Moon
It's a full moon this Friday, November 15 at 1:28 pm PST.
It's known as the “ice moon”, “frost moon” or “beaver moon”, as beavers begin to hibernate around this time. It takes place at the junction of Aries and Taurus (sidereal astrology).
The full moon will be aligned with the Pleiades, a group of six stars called Krittika in Vedic astrology, which means “to cut through negativity to truth”. It therefore carries a certain intensity. It leads us to be true, first with ourselves, facing up to the exiled and repressed parts; then true with others, daring to speak our truth, even if it disturbs and creates waves. Of course, with all this energy, you have to be careful not to be too direct, and to be tactful! Don't get involved in heated debates, trying to prove you're right, which lead nowhere!
This constellation is ruled by Agni, god of purifying fire, and Kartikeya, Shiva's warrior son. It's a constellation linked to adventure into the unknown, to the purification of the soul through the fires of knowledge and experience. It's a time to burn what no longer serves us: fears, habits, wounds, useless thoughts. It's also a good time for cures, fasts, fire rituals, etc., and to channel this warrior energy wisely.
The Sun changes constellation and moves into Scorpio to join Mercury for a month, which should give us a little more energy, but also emotional intensity and transformation. This is conducive to any work related to research, especially with Mercury retrograde in this sign, from November 26 to December 15. Saturn goes direct again after 5 months, so the energy is more directed towards manifestation. Jupiter and Uranus are still retrograde until February, which makes them more visible and brilliant in the sky, so let's make the most of it! Happy full moon!
